Tilly’s Place can support you at all stages of becoming a therapy dog/handler team with your current or future dog and/or in starting a therapy animal program at your school, facility, or private practice. Scheduling is flexible to meet your needs.
Our staff has worked extensively with professionals/students in OT, PT, SLP, social work, and literacy, as well as administrators, to incorporate therapy dogs into the university, therapeutic, and educational settings.
We can perform the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals (AAAIP) therapy animal-handler team evaluation for professionals, which will ensure you and your dog are ready to engage in animal-assisted interventions using best practices, and will qualify you for liability insurance when incorporating your therapy dog into professional practice.
